TERMS AND CONDITIONS

BILLABONG RESORT HAS A 14 NIGHT MAXIMUM STAY POLICY.

Dormitory rooms are reserved for our international guests only.

International guests are required to provide a valid PASSPORT as identification at Check-In.  

RESERVATIONS

Reservations booked in advance do not constitute a legally binding contract between the Hostel and the Customer until the Hostel confirms the reservation with the guest and provides a booking reference.

Bookings made through a third party website must be amended or cancelled through the third party website.

Billabong Resort does not guarantee room/bed allocations. But we do our best to meet all requests

  When booking individual beds, we will always attempt to allocate grouped beds together in the same dorm. However, this may not always be possible. If needed please contact your hostel to confirm your booking.

4 or more guests is considered a group booking and Group bookings must be made by contacting the Reservations team directly.

 Guests may extend their stay subject to availability; rates are subject to change.

The Hostel will use all reasonable endeavours to accommodate such requests.

 Check-out time is 10:00AM. 

At this time guests are required to bring their bed linen (dorm beds only), room key and all personal belongings to reception. If no damages or further charges apply, the guest will be refunded their $20 Deposit

 Later check-out times may be possible by prior arrangement (and at the Hostel’s discretion), and additional charges will apply. Details of charges will be provided to the customer at the time of their request. In the absence of an arranged late check-out, failure to check-out by 10:00AM will result in the Customer being charged an additional accommodation fee or the Deposit being forfeited. Any Late check-out request past 12:00PM will result in a charge for a full night’s accommodation at the standard rate.

PAYMENTS

All payments must be made upon checking-in including a $20 key deposit. The Deposit will be held for the duration of stay,

Check-in time at the Hostel is at 2:00PM.  Should you arrive prior to this, luggage storage is available.

You will be required to pay a replacement charge of $20 for each key lost during your stay, please keep it on your person.

RESPECT

Billabong Resort have a zero tolerance to in-house fighting or harassment with guests being asked to leave once a complaint has been received and verified by staff.

Guests with low standards will be asked to improve the situation, after which guests will be asked to leave the property if no improvement have been made.

 Billabong Backpackers Resort has ‘Hostel Rules’ posted in Reception and main common areas. Please review these rules as failure to adhere to the rules may result in eviction and loss of deposit or additional charges.

Guests will be held liable for any damages to the property caused by you the guest or any person you invite into the property. You will be charged for the damages/call out fee which could result in you being evicted from the property.

ILLEGAL ACTIVITIES

No guest shall undertake any unlawful activity on Billabong premises and Billabong may notify the police of any such activity. This would include: 

any breach of a public health order 

wilful damage to Billabong Resort property or the property of others 

theft of personal belongings, including labelled food left in guest kitchens

smoking and/or vaping in a non-smoking area 

Interference with property fire protection measures. 

CANCELLATIONS AND NO SHOW POLICY

deposit equivalent to the 1st night stay will be required at time of booking

Bookings made directly with Billabong via, our website , phone or at the desk are subject to a cancellation fee equal to the cost of the first night of the reservation

Bookings cancelled are subject to a cancellation fee equal to the cost of the first night of the reservation

no-show fee equal to the cost of the first night of the reservation will apply to bookings when the guest fails to cancel and does not arrive

Failure to arrive on the specified arrival date of the reservation will be treated as a no-show and the entire reservation will be cancelled. Please notify reception if you will arrive after the first day of your reservation so we don’t cancel your entire reservation. You will still be charged for the first night if you have not cancelled it with 24-hours’ notice

Bookings made via booking agents including Booking.com, Hostel World, Agoda and others may be subject to further cancellation and no-show policies and fees. Please contact the agent directly for more information

To cancel or modify bookings made through external booking sites including booking.com, hostel world, and agoda please make changes via their websites. 

Failure to arrive on the date specified will result in the cancellation of your entire booking and may you may be charged a no-show fee equal to the first night of your reservation.

Public Transport: The Transperth Bus 950 stops directly outside our hostel. You can get this bus from the main city train station, or Elizabeth Quay Bus Station. To reach Elizabeth Quay from the airport take the Bus 37, 40 or 380 depending on which terminal you arrive at. 

Taxi/Uber: A Swan taxi from the airport will cost approx. $50.00. A rideshare will cost approx. $35.00. Both services can be found at ranks from bus stations, train stations and the airport.
